Opening Day for the Braves!

This post is a little dated but I wanted to post it anyway! Addie and I were able to go to the Opening Day Braves Game in April! We had sooo much fun. I wasn't really sure how Addie would do but the atmosphere of the game, people cheering(yelling) and people watching kept her entertained the whole time. We planned on staying until the middle of the game because it was a "school night"...but we were having so much fun we stayed well into the 7th inning!
Addie clapped..cheered...yelled...and most importantly....was an Ace at the Tomahawk Chop! Here is a little video of Addie demonstrating the proper way to do "The Chop"!

The tickets we were given included entrance to the 755 club. This was wonderful with a 2 year old because we were able to sit at a table....and lounge....and really spread out! We were still outside but we had shade the whole time.

Take Me out to the ball game....Take me out to the crowd...buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks...and french fries...and cookies...and fried chicken sticks....and juice boxes and potato chips! What fun would a baseball game be without junk food! Mmm!

Yes...I am aware she looks a little "tomboyish" in this picture....but we were scraping for an outfit that would be comfortable, warm (in case it was cool), cool (in case it was warm) and cute at the same time...well...at least she was comfortable! Ha! 1 out of 4 ain't bad.....

It is amazing how much you learn about your child when you really pay close attention to what they do...what they say....and how they react to fun things...like a baseball game! What better way to do this....than one on one time!

I LOVE spending time with Addie..just the two of us! There is just something about the two of us hanging out that can't be compared to any other time...with any other person! One on One time with Addie has created more wonderful memories than I could have ever imagined! I can't wait for more fun times with you Sweet Pea! (Yes...even when you are 40 years old I will still be calling you Sweet Pea!)
