Schooooools Out for Summa!

Ironically as I am writing my post about Addie's last day of school....we only have three weeks left before school starts. Yes...I know I am behind but I
am always behind with blog posts....better late than never....

Addie had a wonderful crew of teachers this year at school. Ms. Lorie has been her main teacher and she needs a medal for patience. Can you imagine working with 21 kids every day? Not only is she responsible for keeping them safe and sound...but she also has to teach them something!!! Well somehow she managed to teach these children a beautiful song which they sang to all the parents at their "graduation". I was so proud of my little girl!

Afterwards we had a big lunch with all the kids! I know I have said this before...but the way Addie gets so excited to see me when I show up at her school....is worth using a million vacation days just to see the smile on her face!

I am excited for Addie going into Pre-K next year but really sad she won't be with Ms. Lorie anymore. I guess this is something I'll have to get used to over the years. She will most likely never have the same teacher twice...unless of course she has to repeat a grade and in that case...I don't want her to have the same teacher twice..Ha! I remember growing up and being really excited to go to my next grade...but really sad to leave some of my teachers. Ms. Hen(Hendricks) was my 2nd grade teacher and Mrs. Myers, 4th grade. I still remember silly things they did during class that made learning a lot of fun. I hope Addie has some Ms. Hens in her future!
