Paige, Lisa, Me, and Jennie before the walk. "Jennie...open your eyes!"My friend, Jennie, gathered a team to walk in "Merrick's Walk" on Sunday. This walk and 5K fun run around Chastain Park remembers Merrick Ryan, a 19-year old who died of anorexia at age 19 in January, 2000. Merrick's sister and mother were there and her sister talked to all of us before the walk. Merrick's sister said a lot of people look at their bodies and find the biggest flaw. That flaw then bocomes the defining character for how we look at the rest of our body. Wouldn't it be nice if we could find our BEST physical attribute and make THAT define how we look at the rest of our body!! So be happy in your own skin! Enjoy what you have! Today, and everyday, celebrate the things you love about your body and forget the rest!
